Common questions

Which platforms can I import from?

Any platform that exports a trade history as CSV. MetaTrader is the common case and exports HTML from MT4 or XLSX from MT5 — open either in a spreadsheet and save as CSV first; the import guide walks through it. The importer lets you map your columns to PipFlo fields once and remembers the mapping for next time, so repeat imports from the same broker are a single step.

Why were some rows rejected on import?

Almost always a missing close price, a date format the parser could not read, or a duplicate of a trade already in your journal. Rejected rows are listed with the reason, and you can fix them in place and re-import just those.

What happens when I hit 50 trades on the free plan?

Nothing is deleted. You keep full access to the trades you have logged and every breakdown built on them; you just cannot add a 51st until you move to Pro. The free plan has no time limit.

Can I use PipFlo for stocks, futures or crypto?

Yes. The fields are named for forex because that is who it was built for, but anything with an entry, an exit and a size logs cleanly. Pip-based fields are optional.

Do you connect to my broker automatically?

Not yet. Trades are logged manually or imported from a file. A read-only broker sync is on the roadmap; the journal deliberately never has permission to place orders.

How do I export my data?

Settings, then Export. You get a CSV of every trade with all fields, including your notes and tags. No plan gates it and there is no limit on how often you can run it.

Not covered here? Send the platform you export from and what you are seeing, and we can usually sort it in one reply.
